Triund Trek
Description:
Triund is at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges and is at a height of 2,828 m. Triund trek is perhaps the easiest Himalayan trek to do on your own. The trek offer panoramic views Bhagsu village, Mcleodganj, Dharamsala valley and distant views of Shivalik hills and plains of Kangra valley. Triund Trek remains open to people across the year but the best time to visit the Triund Trek is March to June.
Itinerary:
Our adventure begins this evening where we will be taking an overnight bus north from Delhi to Mcleodganj, an old hill station situated on the Dhauladhar Mountain Range.

Arriving in Mcleodganj in the early morning, you will be checked into your accommodation. Take a rest and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Later we will visit Bhagsu Nag Temple where you will have the opportunity to take a dip in the holy water. We will then visit the stunning Bhagsu waterfall and for lunch, visit a famous hippie style restaurant; Shiva Café.
Return back to your hotel in the evening and enjoy local music and a bonfire, followed by dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

Today we need to wake up early, have a good breakfast and leave for Triund Trek. A guide will accompany you to show the way of Triund. When you reach Triund, you will experience immense joy as Triund is a place unlike any other, with clear unobstructed views of the sweeping and breathtaking Dhauladhar Mountains. Tonight we will be raw camping here so dinner will be served at the camp and then you will stay overnight in the tented accommodation.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast upon waking up in the morning and we will begin our trek back down to Mcleodganj. Visit the famous Dalai Lama Monastery. Stroll around the market and enjoy the beautiful fusion of Indian and Tibetan culture and art. This is the perfect place to pick up a few souvenirs before we make our way back to Delhi on an overnight bus.
