India offers a vast range of textile traditions & we have designed an exciting India textile tour itinerary of Rajasthan that showcases art of Rajasthani Bandhani, intricate block printing, the use of natural dyes, the exquisite beauty of Kantha quilting, and the craftsmanship behind rug making. Not only this but our tour offers a unique opportunity to explore magnificent palaces, forts, and indulge in the luxurious hospitality of heritage hotels steeped in tradition.

Itinerary:

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be greeted by our executive and transferred to
your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner and overnight stay in Delhi.

After breakfast, drive to Agra. Upon arrival, visit the Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh Garden.

Start your day with an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal. Later, drive to Ranthambore, with a stop at the Abhaneri Chand Baori stepwell. Overnight stay in Ranthambore.

Begin the day with an exhilarating Jungle Safari in Ranthambore National Park, home to tigers and diverse wildlife. After breakfast, visit the Village Women Craft center before driving to Jaipur. Upon arrival, visit Kalpana Recycling, known for creating paper products from waste fabric. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast, explore the old city of Jaipur, visiting Amer Fort and stopping for a photo at
Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Continue to the Hall of Public and Private Audiences, Mirror Palace, and the royal courtyard. Visit the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing. Jaipur is renowned for its gemstone cutting and polishing, handwoven silk and woolen rugs, and vegetable dye block printing. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Participate in a Natural Dye and handblock Printing Workshop, with a vegetarian lunch

Visit an elephant farm near Jaipur, where you can feed and paint elephants. In the evening, enjoy
dinner at Dera Mandawa, a heritage hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast, drive to Deogarh. After checking into the hotel, enjoy free time to explore local markets or partake in hotel activities. The rooftop of this beautifully preserved palace offers the perfect spot for a memorable photo. Overnight stay in Deogarh.

After breakfast, drive to Udaipur, with a stop at the Saas Bahu Temple. Upon arrival, visit the Monsoon Palace for a stunning sunset view. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

After breakfast, visit the iconic Rawla Khempur, famously known as “The Best Exotic
Marigold Hotel.” Enjoy lunch at this historic location. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Explore the City Palace complex and museum after breakfast. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, and spend the rest of the day at leisure or visit a miniature art and painting school. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, stopping en route at the Ranakpur Jain Temples, known for their intricate marble carvings. Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check into the hotel. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Explore the vibrant old city of Jodhpur, known as the Blue City for its indigo-washed buildings. Take a heritage walk to experience the daily lives of locals. Jodhpur is renowned for its leather  goods and embroidered textiles. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada Cenotaph, and the bustling Clock Tower
Market. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner will be arranged in the old city. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

After breakfast, visit a local village to observe artisans hand-weaving dhurrie rugs. Enjoy lunch
with a weaver’s family near Salavas Village, followed by a visit to a textile shop. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer, a historic fort town in the Thar Desert known for its stunning architecture. In the evening, visit the abandoned ghost town of Khaba for sunset. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Participate in a sewing workshop with a vegetarian lunch provided. Explore the local
markets for textiles, Kantha quilts, and artisan crafts. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer

Tour the Jaisalmer Fort, one of the few living forts in the world. Explore the historic streets, shops, and traditional havelis. Visit Patwa and Nathmal Haveli, and Lake Gadisar. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

After an early breakfast, fly to Delhi, where you will connect with your flight home.
