You will meet your Guide and Driver at your Hotel. We will start our heritage walk from the Fort parking area. First you will walk in the 12th century old fort know as the SONAR KILLA. The founder of Jaisalmer created this amazing fort and it is the only fort in India where the people of Jaisalmer still live inside. Here you will visit the Pol (gates), Royal Palace, Jain temples, Old houses and canon. Later get down from the fort and walk in the bazaar of Jaisalmer. Here you should try the famous dessert known as GOTHUA. After that you will go through the vegetable market and from there you will walk to the 19th century old prime minister house know as NATHMAL KI HAVELI. After that we will go to the house of the guy who was richer than the King PATWA KI HAVELI. Here your Heritage walk ends and now you will get back in your car and go to the Camel Farm where you will learn a lot about what different types of camels there are, how they behave, what they eat, why they are known as the ship of the desert, where do they store all the water and food, etc and many more questions like this. Later come back to Jaisalmer city and have an amazing sunset facing the fort. Now you will get to see exactly why people call it the GOLDEN CITY. Back to the hotel.
